• Orange & Green Placement in Andalucia, Spain

Orange & Green Placement January 2013

    The Programme

Orange and Green II is a transnational programme funded by the European Union’s Leonardo da Vinci Lifelong Learning Programme, that will involve 27 individuals wishing to develop their knowledge and understanding of sustainable design, the built environment and the role that culture and the arts has in creating more sustainable place making.

Participants will receive support in the UK prior to spending 10 weeks in either Cordoba or Seville with Spanish employers (Hosts) commencing in January or April 2013.

The programme is more than a work placement, and in particular we are seeking to recruit individuals who want to immerse themselves in the culture of Spain and give as much to their colleagues and to their hosts as they will receive.

Flights, accommodation and an allowance towards other subsistence costs will be provided. Additional support is available for those who consider themselves to be disabled, to enable to take part in the programme.

    Who can Apply?
If you are an EU passport holder (other than Spanish), resident in the UK and part of the labour market (employed, self-employed or looking for work), are an artist, built environment professional, engineer or someone whose work effects the places we live in; and you have a passion for creating a sustainable society we want to hear from you.

    How to Apply?
Candidates are asked to submit an application detailing areas of specific interest and what they hope to gain from the placement.

    Deadline
Applications must be received by E-mail by 9am on Friday 9th November 2012.

The programme is sponsored by Beam who will be working with two Partners, Academia Cordoba and Third Sector International (Seville).
