This blog is a record of my experience in Seville during my 10 week internship at EDDEA Arquitectos as part of Beam's Orange and Green Sustainable Design Placements.
During my diploma in architecture I wrote my final year thesis on our relationship with nature, current architectural design approaches within the industry and how we can relearn valuable lessons from vernacular architecture.
I concluded that we could create a responsive architecture through remembering our past, understanding our local context and through the invaluable knowledge of communities, arts and culture.
